FYI

4/21: RFE sent out and 2nd FP done
4/23: received email notice and double check online, RFE received by USCIS
4/26: received email notice and double check online, message change to: On April 24, finger print review received and blah blah
4/27: no email notice, check portofolio and notice the touch date became 4/27, the message also changed to: On April 27, blah blah
4/28: again no email notice, check portofolio and notice the touch date became 4/28, the message also changed to: On April 28, blah blah
4/29, 4/30: no any change

last update date change -- any meaning?

My wife(dependent) did her 2nd FP on April 9th.
I set up the portfolio on 4/17 or 4/18.
On 4/19, received email notice and double check online, the message updated like: On April 17th, finger print review was received and blah blah. The last update date was 4/19.

Today, 5/3, I noticed the last update date became 4/30, no message change, no email notice.

Added on 5/4:
On 5/4, last update date became 5/4, no message change, no email notice
Checked hours later: My own case's last update date became 5/4 as well.

I have a question on the tax returns. Lots of folks are getting I-485 RFEs on the tax returns. Is it company Tax return or the beneficiary's tax returns.

Most of cases, its' personal tax return. But in a VERY few cases, they asked for company tax return (whenever they had doubt about companies ability to pay).

My wife's RFE on 05/11/04: provide affidavits of birth from parents/relatives. Her birth certificate does not have her name, as her name was not given that time (it contains only her parents names). We missed it, and our attorney too (too bad!!).
