Hi,

My online status shows the message

"the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

after I rencently had my finger printing process done.

I was wondering how cosnistent the VSC is with 485 dates. I filed for my 485 on 09/04 after my 140 was approved. Also I wont fall into the retrogress of the 485 dates. Has anyone filing 485 in and around the same time frame got approval? Also any insight into how much time it approximately takes would be helpful.

Me exactly same boat...same dates etc...still waiting approval.

On the other hand I did notice one case where oct-04 already approved (eb3 VSC). Hang tight

Yes..Oct '04 got approved. that is what prompted me to start this thread to see if any others have got their approval.

LUDs after FP Message

Here is my info. I had an LUD yesterday. Anyone has any idea what it could be?

RIR Labor EB3 - Vermont
PD: Oct 2001
I-140: RD - 11/3/2003 AD - 7/15/2004
I-485/AP/EAD: RD - 8/17/2004
AP AD - 10/29/2004
EAD AD - 10/21/2004
FP - 4/8/2005
I-485- ??? LUD - 4/8, 4/9, 4/20(FP Recd. on 4/18), 4/28

IMO is Immigration Officer.

From my understading, name check is requested within a few weeks after the receipt of 485. If you files between aug/Dec 04, they should have long submitted ur name check, which, from what I read, takes 4-5 months.
 
LUD change

There is an LUD change on 4/26. After that there is no change on the status. I am wondering if that could mean that IMO was assigned to my case? Also guys do we have reasons to believe that the september-october cases are being worked on at VSC?

FP Date or 485 ND date

I am wondering which date matters the most. some of our friends who have filed in Oct '04 have ben approved (hearty congratulations for them). They have got their FP in March '04 and have got their GC late April.

Considering that I am wondering if the VSC goes by the FP date or by the 485 filing date to approve/work on these applications. My FP was received by VSC on April 19th. 485 filed in Sept '04. ANy thoughts on if I could expect someone to work on it soon or is the processing all based on luck!!!

FP code 3 done in late march, FP received LUD on April 13, 485 ND is Dec 22 04, I140 approved. Any ideas on when I should expect the approval emails?
 
what effect does PD have on 485 processing.
my fp was done late in march and now uscis shows that they recieved the fp report on 04/15 and the case processing has resumed.what does this mean????

if ur PD is current, then u can expect ur aproval pretty soon...or else, ur just in line with others until ur PD is current (I think the current PD rite now is June-02)

seems like my wait is long.my PD is july-03,so its at least ayear now?
if i'm not wrong isn't PD the day u'r case started i.e. the labor filing date?
 
Yes its the day ur labor started, if ur EB3. if you are exempt from labor, then its the day u filed 140
 
I-485 - some dates

Hi Excalubur,
I filed I-485 in Jan 2005, I did the fignerprint on 4/16/05.
I am very curious to know if you got approval.

I have two colleagues here who got I-485 approval only two months after fingerprint. Both were with Vermont center, and happened around oct. 2004.

Also what is LUD ? I am new to the site. Where can I see some approval dates ? In this thread there is an xls file but from 2003.

I am in the same boat. 485 filed 10/2004. FP done 04/07. Status updated on 04/19 indicating the FP results received. No change in LUD or status message.

140 approved Sept 04
Labor - EB3 - Feb 04.

All,

Finally my I-485 EAC 03088XXXXX was approved last week. It was filed in January 2003 so it took a long while, but finally the wait is over!
