Thanks for all the info in this group. If you are in Southern california,I found it is much easier to just go to CSC(address in INS website) to check you I485 status or make address change.(They open from 9:30am - 2:30pm) Hang in there and good luck!

Silent Waiter\'s Friend got approval , RD 05/15, AD 08/21
silent_waiter - 11:12pm Feb 24, 2002 EST

She is not listed in PCee\'s list.
But I confirmed her approval with my own eyes.
She and her husband got approval, Their son is way ahead of them , he is just 9 months old but already a citizen (born)
Some people are born with silver....citizenship in their mouth while others wait.

Heard the words I\'ve been waiting for: \'Case approved...\'. The approval notice has been mailed for my wife and me.
I cannot thank enough the support structure and sharing of info provided by folks on this board. Most of all to Pcee and Ciba -- hats off to the wonderfully generous initiative you have taken here to help out so many people. Thank you!

no 125 => Huracan approved rd july 5 2001

Hello,

I was getting a bit anxious after the June and July approvals lately, so this morning I called an IIO for the first time to find out the status of my application. I got a nice IIO that after giving the receipt number and personal info asked me what I wanted to know. I said I wanted to know if the application was adjudication ready or with an officer. She asked me if I wanted to get good news or bad news. I said I\'d rather hear good news, and she told me my case has been approved on Feb 21st. Unfortunately I couldn\'t find out the status for the rest of my family, but considering that most family cases are approved together I assume they are fine.

Thanks to all the people that contribute their experiences and work to this board, specially to PCee, Ciba, and many others.

I hope your approvals will get soon, for me, I\'ll wait to get the notice in the mail, and I\'ll share my passport experience.

Although my information is readily available in PCee tracking website, I\'ll post the more important dates.

AD: Feb 21st, 2002 according to IIO(waiting for notice in the mail and AVM change). I checked AVM yesterday and was still on Jan 17 process was resumed.

It seems the INS giant is waking up and picking up speed, let\'s hope it continues with this trend and can reduce the backlog as much as possible.

Good luck to everyone.

rsrgc - Suggestion/Request

Looking at the number of approvals in Feb may be we should consider two seperate discussions for the month of March.

1. Recent Approvals - March 1 to March 15th .
2. Recent Approvals - March 16th to March 31st.

Just my 2 cents

No Title

BVM,

I understand where you are coming from. I too realized that this thread is taking a bit longer to load. I wish we started a new thread around 02/15.. For this we don\'t have to change thread subject (still we can call it as March approvals) but start a new one when it becomes a bit long (like any other threads).

Thanks
PCee

Thats a good idea BVM, PCee. I suggest we break the thread on Sunday night, March 17...

That way rsrgc can complete his weekly summary in the first thread and begin the new week in the second thread. What do you think?

reply to bvm/pcee/dee rod

The objective is to have quick response time

So let us break up the next month

what I will do now is that though I will break up the next month into 4 threads I will continue the number sequentially starting from number 1 onwards

In fact we could do the same thing even now.
