Receiving the Plastic Card

I am expecting my approval notice anytime this week.

Can I specifiy an alternate address to receive our plastic cards ?

We are scheduled to move in the first week of July and the 6-7 weeks between stamping and our move out date is highly optimistic as far as receiving the plastic card is concerned ?

Any inputs appreciated.

I am in the same boat. Scheduled for passport stamping on 5/17/04. Plan to change residence in June 2004. people in other forums say you CANNOT use POBOX address. So don't know what to do?

I used P.O.Box address on all my correspondence with INS, and got my GC in the mail at that same P.O.Box.

Thanks for your input. My lawyer says that GC can't be mailed to the POBOX address and so do some forum members on the I-485 TSC forum. But your case proves that to be not correct. I plan to get passport stamping tommorrow and plan to move in the end of June 2004. Keeping a POBOx will be much convenient than continuing to paying the rent for my current residence.

Please let me know if you did any research on using POBOX address and did the INS official taking at passport stamping object to it?
