Received RFEs for my I-140 and spouse's I-485. No details. Attorney has not received the RFEs yet.

EB3 concurrent.

Recieved RFE on I-485. No word on the I140

I just recieved an email from USCIS that an RFE was sent today on my I-485. Don't know the detials. No approval yet on the I-140.

Yes. FP was done for my spouse and myself on June 16, 2004. Wesbsite updated by USCIS on June 30, 2004

Even i received RFE on i-140 and spouse's 485

It does not have any relation.

The fact that posting did not have a mention of FPs, i was wondering if you guys got RFE's before FPs.

My first guess would be RFE is about 'Ability to pay'.

How big are your companies?.

Isn't the "ability to pay" RFE generated for I-140 and not for I-148?

BTW, my company is a Chemical company of about $350M sales and offices/plant in US, France and China

NSC had stopped RFEs for ability to pay. There now generate RFE for education. Please let me know if they have started issuing RFE again for ability to pay?

My attorney has not received the RFEs yet. He told Education, Ability to pay could be the reasons. But almost ruled out first one because he said he prepared labor after considering all facts(I have 4 yr degree). I really don't think its the second one since my employer is well known in his region with around 600+ employees and good reputation.

Any other possibilities?

Same here. We are in similar situation. Did you check what'll happen if CIS does not clear our RFEs before dec 31st?. I didn't get a clear answer from my attorney.

Attorney has responded to I-485 RFE and he is going to for I-140 RFE.
