Received RFE yesterday - Details Inside

I received RFE from my lawyer yesterday. They are asking two things :

1) One original employment verification letter on company letterhead from the current employer stating the date of hire, duties, remuneration and prospect of continued employment.

2) Last Three (3) pay statements.

Lawyer asked me to send the required documents before August 5th.

My Details are : EB3 VSC PD Jan 11th 96, RD Feb 3rd 99, ND Feb 9th 99,
                 FP June 18th 99, First EAD Feb 9th, Second EAD Feb 00.
                 Received RFE from Lawyer on July 13th 00.
                 EAC # 99-091-XXXXX.

Did your company name change? Or any other situation (out of normal)?

Nothing has been changed with my Company. I think it is Normal to receive RFE for evidence, Also depends on the officer who reviews the case.

I think you are right - it must depend on the officer who reviews your case. I got a RFE requesting for Current Employment Letter (no pay stubs or W-2\'s).

I dont mean to say you are wrong, but, it doesn\'t sound right to
ask for evidence when we already sent the evidence when we applied
for I485 (Letter from employer etc.). Moreover, I believe GC is for
future employment. Why should they need evidence of current
employment?
