Friends, today I received the copy of the RFE notice from the attorney\'s office. As I posted earlier, it is for employment letter and asking for the following details:

From the current employer, on the company\'s letterhead,
      - Date of hire
      - Renumeration
      - Duties
      - Prospect of continued employment.

Just wanted to share this info. Verified with LD, they also received the RFE notice and they will take care of this for me. One more step towards the finishing line. Good Luck everyone.

Could you post more details like:

When rfe was generated.
When it was mailed.
How many days till you have to respond. Is it 30 days from ND ie. somewhere in June I guess.

RFE sent on June 25th. My case was assigned to an officer on June 19th. This was my first RFE and the hold was also removed on June 19th. It took 14 days. However, when I called the IIO yesterday (July 11th) she told me that it was mailed out on July 11th. I don\'t know where she got that info. from - may be fed up with me calling them once in three weeks. Anyway, I got the copy of the RFE notice today. In the RFE itself it says that it needs to be responded on or before Sept. 3, 2001. Hope this helps.

From INS, the RFE went to the lawyer. I received the copy of the same from the lawyer\'s office. The lawyer\'s office sent the copy to LD too. The lawyer\'s office also enclosed the copy of the covering letter that they sent to our LD as part of the mail.

It says " Submit an original letter on company letterhead from your prospective employer who filed Form I-140 on your behalf stating their continued interest in hiring you, duties to be performed and remuneration."

" From the date this office receives your resubmission a minimum of 14 days will be required to process your form. If you have not heard from us within 60 days, then, you may contact this office at (802) 527-4913".

But in your last message, you have given the verbatim of the content of the letter. In this, I am not seeing anywhere asking for \'DATE OF HIRE\'. Isthe last message complete copy of the RFE or are there any more details missing.

    I have explained my problem in detail in your private message. Please CHECK YOUR PRIVATE MESSAGE.

     since you are also one among the sufferer, I hope you will understand the mental agony that I am going through now. I will take some liberty in requesting you to type out complete content of the your RFE.

Hi, I didn\'t type out the full text of the RFE notice sheet that I received. I just typed out the couple of paragraphs. Yes it did ask for the date of hire. There are more statements as part of the RFE notice.

Yes. I was able to read your private message and I replied you back. Let me do it one more time. Btw, are you too with IGTE. If so, don\'t worry. Our Legal dept. is the best that I know of and there won\'t be any issue at all.

   I received al your messages. I am just debating the meaning of the sentence. Though it says date of hire, it refers to the prospective employer\'s date of hire.

As I mentioned in my message, you don\'t have to worry too much on this. I don\'t see anything wrong with your case and you are in a good shape. I would say don\'t think something which will not or never happen. Keep thinking on the postive side of it and you will see your approval soon. Good Luck!
