Hi All,

After a quite moderate process, GC Journey is done for me and for my wife. Here are our case details. No RFE thoroughout our whole process. Everything like applied and approved pattern.

BTW Thanks for everyone in the forums. Especially POJ, Saras76, ritu_sanjay and those who all helped me during the process.

All the very best & Good Luck to everyone for their speedy approvals.

No Biometrics...

I didn't do any biometrics during my finger print.

Our finger print notice showed code 1. That't it.

Passport stamping is without any biometrics

Hi
Good Morning
I have recieved my green card and have few questions , if the experts / gurus can advise it will be appreciated as always.

1. DO i need to get passport stamping done ?
2. what happens when I goto india ? Do they see Green card or Indian passport ?
3. What happens when I am coming back from India to US.
do i need to carry valid visa or just show my green card and thats it ?

Kindly advise

Vivek, you do NOT need to get stamping done. When you go to India, they see both. Indian passport, which is a proof of your nationality, and the GC which is a proof of your permanent residence in US. You do NOT need a visa when you have a GC. Hope that answers your questions.
