Received INS notice of action

Hi,
I received RFE from INS asking for W-2 for 1999 & 2000. They also asked for employment verification letter. There was some information missing in the form I-693 (medical form) which was filled by the INS authorized doctor. They need a supplemental form with that information also. Did any one have similar experience of mistake in medical forms? I would like to hear about it. EB3, PD 10/97,RD 11/99, ND 12/99, INDIA

Yes. INS requested my wife to do a TB skin test. She already got the chest X-ray and the doctor already ruled out TB. Therefore, skin test is not required. However, INS still has the skin test result as part of the RFE.

Hi,

Do you have to give some letter to your employer stating your intention of staying with the company? What kind of letter does your employer give INS? Is there any standard format?

Please advise as I am in the same boat as you are.

I got exactly same RFE like yours. INS has requested for pay stubs, employment letter and my doctor forgot to fill out the immunization part of I693. So I got it signed again (added a suplement to I693) and sent it back with employment letter and pay stubs.

This is ridiculous....Chest X-Rays is a thorough exam than the skin test!
Many people test positive in the skin test (pinkish/red)--so doctors then reccomend to have the Xrays to verify...What does the VSC think???? bunch of idiots??

Susha, coolj or Fromsa: could any of you please post when your RFE was generated and recieved. Mine says it was issued on April 11 my attorney has not recieved untill today. Wondering how long it takes to recieve this? Thanks

I\'d received an RFE for Employment letter and for my wife\'s medical. She was pregnant then, so she skipped couple of tests. Is there any I693- supplement forms to download?! Please post..

Hi Coolj,
What you mean by added a supplement to I693? Did they fill out a seperate form or fix the same form? In my case, doctor filled up the columns he missed to fill in the original I693 and in the supplemental form to I-693.Hope it works. Also the clinic attached a letter saying the fixed it on the existing form.
