Good news guys...
I received my Interview letter today. All is good and I am set for a late April date.

I must bring the following :
* IL letter
* Green Card
* Evidence of Selective Service (DOH..)
* Passports and any documents used in connection with any entries into the USA.
* Items Noted below which are applicable to me. (none applies but need to bring all original documents for all copies I submitted with N 400).

GOO LUCK TO ALL...

Thanks guys..
I was so tempted to request an infopass like you both did..
I then decided to wait till May as I originally planned...
Today I got my IRS refund which I used to pay off my credit card totally...
So it is all good news today...

I am hoping and will be praying that you all get your ILs soon and hopefully become citizens before the elections...

GOOOOOOOOOOOOD LUCK...

Since I am trying to catchup with Vorpal number of posts I should say:
Proudpal, you are A looser. Couldn't you wait a bit for us :((
I am just joking bud. Awesome news for me and Vorpal. Atleast you can share your experience for Interview and Oath with us,(in case that we don't get there earlier than you).
Happy weekend to you and the rest of the people!!!

Congrats ProudPal - I am sure everything will be fine. You have 2 months to relax and get prepared. LOL

What is your DO again? And did you get an additional Document Checklist with the interview letter?

Thank you..
I will take some middle eastern food and hope the DO will like it...:P

They invited you to have your interview not have a party there!
Make sure to read your exam very well, study some math in case they might ask you to count the stars.

I already bought some physics books...

LoLali : They sent the standard CheckList document which basically does not really apply..
If you are married, bring this..
if you are in the service bring that..

In reality, the only thing I need to bring is the stuff listed above..
Passports, Green Card, ID, and original documents of all documents I sent to them..

Hey Proudpal, I forgot to ask you about the your online status. Could you descibe that please?
Thanks,
P.s. please include the LUD too.
Tanx

They must be very busy at your local office, if they schedule it 2 month out.
I files 10/22 and had FP done a month later then you.

However, overall your timeline gives me hope to get it all done within the 6 to 7 month time frame.

*IF* the PD date on the USCIS site truly reflects the closing of cases, then it only confirms this, BUT it would also make me wonder about the 16 to 18 month announcement.

Good luck!

*IF* the PD date on the USCIS website is sort of BS on their behalf. How can you manage to have most of the DO complete till 7-20-2007? Even if this is possible, I doubt that USCIS is capable of do such a thing.

16-18 months is something to keep us all quiet.

It's possible that the majority of the cases with a July 20 PD have been closed out as of February 15, which explains the reason why most DOs are reporting that date. Keep in mind that there are also many DOs (Philadelphia and Boston, for instance) that are still considerably behind July 20. Washington, D.C., probably the slowest DO, is reporting January 31, 2007.
