Received GC today!

It is over for me I got my GC card today in the mail. It is 1 year back dated and it expires in 2015.
Good luck to every one here.

My dates are 05/08/2000, FP 04/01/2004, RFE April 25, 2005. Approval Notice May 31, 2005. Biometrics done on August 02, 2005. GC received August 09, 2005.
 
Congrats Serge16! Enjoy your freedom. :) Word of advice, keep being patient .... my wait for citizenship is proving to be as difficult as my wait for the GC was! :D

Kaoticfury - seems like they are printing the plastic cards a lot faster now. In the past, we had to wait any where from 3 months - to 1 year. I think this is the reason why they no longer issue temporary GC's because they know the card will be printed quickly.
