But, I don't know whether to be happy or not. Because i'm flying to India on 02/10/2005.

Guys please help me. What are my options ?

Hi Bodhal

If you are planning to come back soon within 60 days then here are the options:

I just now read in this portal somebody saying there is 60 days grace period after your appointment date. I would suggest please check with the BCIS customer Rep by calling their 1800 number and also re-check with your attorney whether 60 days grace period is true ?

Hi Bodhal,

what state are you in ?? where is your fingerprinting to be done ? Am happy to see FP notice for April 04 case ...
Regarding your situation, there are numerous posts in this forum of cases where people in this situation have done there FP earlier then their date or have done after the date has passed ( there is a grace period in which you can go) or have called the number on the notice and have rescheduled the FP date..you can look for post that apply to your location ..

Bodhal_Singh, unfortunately I cannot help you for this special situation. But it's good to see an April 04-I-485 FP notice @ VSC, since they got stuck there since 2-3 months. Waiting for mine too....Does anybody know whether USCIS usually sends an email when it mails FP notice and whether it mails the notices to the applicant or the lawyer?

I am a little worried since my lawyer is not very well organized....had a LUD change on an already approved I-140 y'day, but no LUD change on I-485 (still about ND), so I am trying to figure out what this means?

Would be great if somebody could please shed some light.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM lud CHANGE ON APPROVED I-140 BUT NOT IN I-485.

i WAS TOLD THAT IT IS VERY COMMON AND THIS LUD CHANGE WILL HAPPEN NOT ONLY ONCE BUT MORE TIMES AND THIS DOESN'T NECESSARILY INDICATE THE ARRIVAL OF FP NOTICE.

SO LET US HOLD IT TIGHT AND HOPE FOR THE BEST.

Today i went to ASC, Phoenix. And Guess What ????

They allowed me. They took my finger prints.

Mine is Vermont/ EB-3/NJ case

Regarding your question, i did not received any FP Notice. My attorney did. He sent me notice by USPS Overnite service.

There was no change in LUD.

I am also new to this forum, but I am happy that I may answer your question: LUD stands for "last update date". If you register on USCIS with your case#, you will see it.

Good to know about your Early FP.Enjoy your Trip. :)

I also received the FP Notice.Its dated 02/14/05 and is printing is scheduled for 03/01/05.My I-140 is still unapproved though as there is second RFE on it.

FP received for April 2004 case.

Yesterday my attorney received my FP notice scheduled on 03/11/05.


EB3, VSC.
PD Aug 2002.
140/485 RD April 21, 2004.
140 Approved.
485 ?
 
spouse FP

I recently received my FP notice scheduled for March. My spouse case has a different I-485 filing date and hasn't yet received FP notice. Can anyone share their experience trying FP for spouse without a FP notice at Buffalo ASC/Other centers.
