Received FP Notice and EAD Approved

Hello Friends,

Received FP notice for myself and my wife y'day in the mail and y'day happens to be mu son's b'day. What a gift from the Almighty. Aslo our EAD got approved the same day. One intriguing thing was, we moved to a new address 2 months back an dthe INS sent the notice to the old address, inspite of filing AR11 ahead of the move. So much for the law!!!!!!..

I-485 RD - March 5th 2002
FP Received - 25 March 2003
EAD Approved - 25 March 2003

Hang in there...Everything will be all right...

Hopefully this becomes a trend for TSC! I am hoping for more FPs and much more approvals!!
 
Did the USPS forward it to your new address ?

Did the USPS forward it to your new address ?

You mentioned that you changed your address. Since it is a INS document, I was just wondering if USPS will forward it to your new address?

I am in the same boat of changing address and bit concerned if INS sends it to old address
 
Change Of Address

Yeah luckily the post office did re-direct the mail to my new address even though I filed AR-11 withb the INS before I moved.
So much for the law which they cannot enforce.

My RD for EAD is - Dec 2002.

Do u think I should call the INS and notify them of the change of address.. Please share ur thoughts adn comments

Yes.you have to call iio to make the address change. I filed AR11 4 months ago and last week i called and found out that they had still my old address. I gave my new address to IIO. I am hoping that she atleast entered in the database. I had my FP in Mar02 and still no approval. i filed my ead on dec 16th. No approval yet!
