Congs!

Hi, Hadi,
Could you let me know what it says about the requirement of the 2 ADIT photos ? Like how recent the photos need to be ?
Thanks,

Here you go...

The 2 ADIT style color phot. should be taken within the 30 days before you go to the local INS office for processing. The photo must be
- have a white background, bu unmounted, be printed on thin paper, be glossy and unretouched
- show a three quarter frontal profile of the right side of our face, with your right ear visible and with your head bare
- are no longer than 2x2 inches, with the distance from the top of the head to just below the chin about 1 - 1 1/4 inches
- Lightly print your name and A# from this notice, on the back of each photo with a pencil

Hope this helps,
Hadi

Hadi, one more question

Congrats on your approval!

Does the notice say you have to go certain day for stamping or you can go any day? Which day does it say and which city are you going for stamping?

Thanks and good luck

Sorry, yes it is PP stamping and not FP

Thanks everybody....

The courtesy copy mentioned only the hours, which are from
7:30 to 4:30 I believe. The whole process took about 20 minutes.
The officer took our EAD card and asked if we had advance parol.
He took 1-94's from our passport and stamped a very simple
sentence saying we are perminent residence. The stamp is valid for 1 year. I talked to my lawyer later and he told me that the card takes around 1 year these days. Don't know how true is that, b/c I have seen postings on this board who received in three months.

Another important point my lawyer mentioned is that, if I ever get laid off, I could file unemployement. He said filling unemployement is not part of the help people receive (don't remember exact translation) from the government. So, that was a good news as well in case laid off.

Hope this helps.

courtesy copy only?

Don't you need the original approval notice(sent to the lawyers) for stamping?

No, the courtesy copy is enough. They only asked EAD, AP and I-94. The take all these from you and stamp your passport.
