NOFREEDOM, when you say, you got approved in MAY, what does your approval letter states?

My letter states, to complete the process, make infopass to visit local office, where they will take fingerprint & signature for processing of GC.

Now you are telling us that you are waiting for Biometrics. Does your approval letter states something different?

I got my Bio request today, as well. It is scheduled for July 29, 05 @ USCIS San Antonio.

APPROVAL NOTICE
Notice Date May 20th 2005
"The above application has been approved. Prior to receiving your permanent resident card you may be required to report for biometrics processing (photo/fingerprint/signature). Please do not take any action at this time. If you are required to report for this processing, you will receive another notice advising you of the date, time, and location to appear.
If you have not received your card or the above mentioned notice to appear for biometrics processing within 60 days, please call this office at the number listed below.
THIS FORM IS NOT A VISA NOR MAY IT BE USED IN PLACE OF A VISA."

Now, today is 20th which is 60 days and still nothing. I have scheduled INFOPASS appointment for thursday and I will see what happens. I did call Nebraska and they said to wait, but I'll call again tomorrow or Thursday to make sure that that is the case. This is just crazy.

I haven't rcv'd my Biometrics notice yet but I was wondering if they can use the FP I did in 08/17/2004. The code they put on that says 4. Does anyone know what that is?

From what I understand about this subject, biometrics (digital photo, digital signature and digital index finger fp) are taken among other reasons, to be printed on our GC's. I don't know what is code 4, on latest Notice of Action I-797C for biometrics (mine) the code is 2, I have no clue what it means. When you did fingerprinting last year, I think like for all of us who did it in approx same time the purpose was FBI clearance, no digital photo and no digital signature have been taken.
USCIS should send you same notice as they did for all of us, give them couple of more days and if you don't receive it call them up. I strongly believe you'll have it in your mail box any time now.

in your last message you mentioned that your Bio is scheduled for 07/30/05. Are they working Saturdays? You better check that out man.....

I have been scheduled as the same day as Aniket19. July 30 of 2005 for Bio. ( new jersey as well) I believe they are working on Saturday, instead they have Sun and Mon off. Thanks for your consideration.

PM, I just remembered. Last year when I went for the FPs on a Monday, they were closed. The Security guy told me they are closed on Mondays. But open on Saturdays.
 
Should we call to USCIS for BIO?

Hi PM
I am also concern about my BIO like yours. USCIS sent me RFI on June 24th but didn't recive first time so i called them and they sent me RFI again. Same thing happen to Aniket and Des they also call USCIS and recive their RFI second time, also they got there BIO letter pretty much same time. Although our RFI was sent same but i didn't recive any BIO letter yet. And we live pretty much same area.
I live in NYC and couple of people of NY got there BIO.
My concern is did they send my BIO yet OR i am Missing mail again?
Should we Call USCIS and ask did they send any Letter (BIO) after RFI?
What you guys think?

This is what I think

I think that USCIS hasn't mailed our Biometrics request yet. I think someone tried calling and asked an I/O and he told him that nothing has been mailed to him after RFI. don't know what criteria are they using to send these notices. :confused:
