Finally, it's my turn. I received approval email, I've been waiting for 4 and 1/2 years in I-485 stage alone on 5/3.
With 5 EADs and APs. Two I-140's

Though haven't heard any update on my spouse and kids cases. I did send an email inquiring on their cases.
We did get Biometric code 3 FP notice couple of weeks ago, tried going to BCIS Support Center in San Jose , they asked us to come on the appointment date(05/06).

Anyways, it's such a great relief for me. Nearly 9 years of struggle has nearly come to an end.
 
Congrats. Arent U EB3? Please post your details....your approval brings me a ray of hope.

Yes, I filed in EB3 category in CSC and PD is Feb 1998(which was a derivative labour), Got first I-140 approved in Dec.2000
File I-485 in Dec 2001(got delayed due to company merger etc), had to
file amended I-140 as well along with I485.
Second I140 got approved in May 2002. Then there was no activity till June 2004 due to retrogression in EB3 category. On following up with CSC Immigration department, they tossed a huge RFE asking for 6 years of my sponsoring company's Tax documents, and other pertaining details, my W2 of all the years since I entered this country and much much more. As I was no longer with the sponsoring company they made me run from pillar to post to give me the necessary paper work, so that I could reply RFE.

By then I had changed 3 jobs on EAD's so filed for AC21 through my H1 lawyer as the lawyer who filed my I-485 from previous company was not very coopertative after seeing the RFE reqeust.
Had to move all the documents from sponsoring company's lawyer which took couple of weeks. I was able to submit RFE paperwork on the pin ultimate day.
Now, another RFE was generated for my son, saying his mother's(my) name was misspelled in the birth certificate. Had to notarize the birth certificate, which triggered Name/Security check. So lost another couple of years in name check black hole.
Tried taking the help of local Senator, didn't help much, as they couldn't do anything, as the case was stuck in the name check.

Now, I can say a great ordeal has almost come to an end.
Hope you get your approval soon.
