Received 2nd RFE

Today I received a 2nd RFE, the response to last RFE was received by BCIS on 17-Sep-03. The RFE is about Birth Certificate.

Is there anyone on this forum from Pakistan?? If so where did you get your Birth Certificate from, they want one issued by Civil Authorities in Pakistan.

P.S: Hospital and consulate Birth Certifcates are not acceptable.
 
I got mine from Tehsil Minicipal Administration.

Don't know if i would be enough.
You can also send an affidavit from parents/uncle/aunt.

I got mine from Lahore Metropolitan corporation.
But date of registry is recent and as per some postings on this forum recent registration dates can trigger a RFE.

Would you mind telling us What is your RD? and what was the first RFE for ?
 
Affidavit will do

My Lawyer said if Birth Certificate is not available.
Affidavit from relative in your country is sufficient.
 
RD: Dec 2001

1st RFE Sent: July 2003, Birth Certificate, Employment Letter, Medical, and proof of status(e.g H-1, EAD, I-20's)

2nd Finger Prints: Aug 2003
1st RFE received by BCIS: Sep 2003
2nd RFE issused: Oct-2003

No I don't have a spouse and yes the 2nd RFE is in response to the 1st RFE as they are not satisfied with the Birth Certifcate.

ps: this will be the third Birth certificate I will be sending.
 
I had mine, wife and daughter's birth certificate from union council. I had translated and got stamped from union council on the transation as well, except my wife's birth certificate. My attorney asked me to get transalation for my wife's birth certificate. I got it from Consulate and send back to attorney.
