Received 10-year Green Card. Question about removal of conditions

I just received my GC and it is the 10-year one. Our marriage was already 2 years old by the time we interviewed so the IO decided to give us the 10-year GC. Needless to say, I was very happy about that.

But I am a bit confused. I thought this meant I wouldn't have to apply for removal of conditions at the 21-24 month mark, but I read somewhere else that it would still be necessary.

Any clarification on this?

Thanks

Not necessary at all if your marriage is 2 years old on the date of adjustment of status or the date of entry into United States, don't worry and have fun, file for your citizenship after 33 months if still married that's it. And he did not decided to give you a Ten year one, he had to give you that anyway it wasn't his call to decide on which one to give.
