Receipt number

Hi Guys,

My attorney says he applied my I-140 on 10/3/03 and I-485 on 10/14/03. But when i ask for receipt number he told still he didn't get. Is it normal to tak a month to get receipt number ??

For me it is more than a month. i did not get 485 receipt.

usually it takes 2-3 weeks. but i have heard cases that took even 3-4 months
