Receipt number

Receipt number is the the number given to you when you apply for 140 or 485 or EAD or anything at INS. .
I guess as a matter of fact for evey application they send u the reciept ...and the n umber on it is the reciept number....
It wud be something like if NSC starts with LIN... if VSC EAC etc....
