receipt number

I just got my receipt for my I-765 and I-485, I went online to check the status and it says that the number is incorrect.
It says that its suppose to start with some letters but my receipt starts with MSC.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

The INS system is very slow, but try to put all of the letters AND numbers together. If nothing happens, that means you're not in their system yet and go back in 2 or 3 weeks to verify.

It is totally normal, so don't worry. Wait around a month to see if it recognizes your receipt number. Is not then you can call the 800 number and tell them.
