Receipt Notices For Ead & Ap

Hey guys, I had sent renewal applications for EAD & AP on 3rd April and I noticed that they cashed my checks too on 8th April, but have not received the notices. Is this taking that long? My questions to you guys,
1. Is this normal?
2. If I never receive the receipt notices then what should I do. I had applied them directly without the lawyer.

-- This is not normal. You are supposed to receive them at least after two weeks of receiving by USCIS.

-- Your attorney should receive them, need to talk with yor attorney..
 
Recently I have applied for our AP and in 3 days they cashed it and within a week we got our notice of action

If you applied through your lawyer then asked them. Yes, your
check now will have your EAC no printed. I do online banking through Fleet Bank. Even before they send our NOA we knew our EAC no.

Did you mail the AP applications for you and your spouse in one envelope OR in separate envelopes?

If the question is for me then YES I send both in one envelope in a certified mail so that I can track.
