Receipt for Advanced parole

I had applied for AP and EAD renewal (paper-based) for my wife with NSC. I had sent all the required documents through certified mail in different envelopes for EAD and AP and to their respective post boxes. I tracked the status on USPS website and both the packets were delivered on March 27, 2006. On March 29, check for EAD was cashed and I also received the receipt notice for EAD on March 30.

BUT... there is no action on AP. Check has not been cashed and I haven't heard anything from NSC until now. Do they take so much time... Should I be worried and how should I contact NSC ( I don't even have recipt number for their reference).

Any help/guidance would be really appreciated.

similar situation

I also submitted my EAD/AP renewal applications on Mar 15th. Only EAD checks were encahsed and received receipt notice only for EAD. For APs i haven't received anything (NO receipt notice) and those checks for AP also were not encashed. I am not sure what should i do at this point.
 
last month, I also applied EAD and AP renewal (Together) for me and for my wife , I got EAD receipt notice within a week and AP notice in two week time.
 
I E-Filed I-765(EAD) and I-131(AP) together on 03/27 and got receipt notice from USCIS for I-765 within a week. So far I haven't received receipt notice (I-797) for AP. I have sent the supporting documentation based on the PDF printout.

There are couple LUDs on both EAD and AP LIN numbers though and credit card is charged with filing fee for both. I guess I will wait till end of this week and call USCIS.

Hey No Hope,

It seems we are in the same boat for AP. Please let me know if you see any action from USCIS on your AP or if you take any action for resolving this issue. I am really blank regarding this... I can't even call USCIS since I don't have any LIN number... so I'm just waiting and hoping for best.
 
LUD changed..

I have e-filed my wife's AP on Feb 20th. And added that LIN in "Case Status Online" on 04/04/2006. When I added LUD was 04/04/2006 (the day I added the LIN). Today when I saw, LUD has changed to 04/05/2006, but message didn't change. What could be??
 
Received the Receipt for AP

I finally received the receipt notice for AP for my wife after 4 weeks of filling with Nebraska Center. The reason for delay may be that Nebraska forwarded the application to Lee's Summit , Missouri. The receipt notice was sent to me by MO and the receipt numver starts with MSC instead of LIN.
I wonder if I should have mailed AP application (Paper-based) to MO office instead of Nebraska.
But in Jan 06, my own application for AP was accepted by NSC and had LIN number and I got approved from NSC in March 06.
 
Pl help me for AP renewal

I want to renew the AP for me and my fammily. My lawyer is asking hell lot of money.I am inspired by looking all of you and decided to do it my self.Could some one pl tell me where i can download the forms and what are the documents are needed .Also pl guide me weather I have to do paper based or Efiling AP renewal.

Hi GCMAGIC,

You have to log into the e-filing system from the USCIS website and do the filing by yourself. Have all the information ready to fill in or you can go through the form once(it can be dowloaded from the USCIS website or you might have a copy if you have applied before through your Attorney).

After you fill all the information you can pay the fee with your credit card, print the receipt and send the supporting documents by mail with the copy of the receipt.

Thanks for giving me all the information.What do you prefer efiling or Paper based filling.I saw in this forum many people are doing paper based than efiling.Is there any issues with efiling AP renewal.Pl let me know..

change of Address

Hi Gurus,
I wanted to ask you guys one thing. My lawyer applied for our EAD and AD. Parole renewals on March 13. Now, we are planning to move to NY from Wyoming. I know that our Adv. Parole document will be going to my lawyer but our EAD would be coming to our house. So, if we dont get our EAD by the end of this month, we might be in trouble. Could we give our new address to post office for mail forwarding ?? Do they forward the mail from INS ? Alternatively, could the lawyer ask the INS for the address change ??
Please reply me ASAP , I could not contact my lawyer today because of the holiday. I am worried and want to know what's the solution ? Has anybody who applied for EAD/Parole renewal on after Mar 13th, received the approval yet ??
