Just a concern

I see couple of people with MD > 11/02/01 getting their I-485 receipts. I contacted my lawyer to see if I have received my receipts.My MD is 11/02/01. I infact expected my reciepts. I have a concerns here. Few months back I had terrible argument with my lawyers for delaying my I-485 filling. I am just guessing thay are trying to give me a hard time by saying they hav\'nt received so far. Is there any way of knowing whether INS has sent my receipts. Please help me...

You can call IIO and identify yourself...

a good IIO will give you your EAC, ND etc. I have seen postings of folks obtaining their NDs this way.
I guess you are dealing with a corporate attorney - a lot of us are their victims.

I live in Virginia

Don\'t know about the check clearence as I never mailed the checks, I was surprised as all the receipts came to my address instead going to attorney. I was expecting 2 months but it came with in a month. I wish you good luck.

You can get the EAC # on the back of the check which you sent for the INS.
