I need advise from people who have applied for re-entry permit in the past.
How did you document the reasons for applying for a re-entry permit? Did you write up a separate sheet and then provide supporting documentation like an "official letter" ?
My proposed reasons go something like this:
1. I intend to establish a company in my own name whose business is going to be export and import between India and the US. This is just established and I will be going to India to establish marketing alliances, study market conditions etc.
2. I hope to get married to an Indian citizen soon and I will have to sponsor her Green Card. MY future wife cannot visit the US to be with me so I will be spending a few months with my newly wedded wife in conjunction with the above.
Does that sound like a valid reason?
