reasons for cancelling asylum status

I have read where re-availing yourself of the protection of your COP is reason for calling into question or cancelling your asylum status. How is that defined? Apart from travelling back to the COP and renewing your NP, are there any other things that would cause USCIS to call into question your asylee status?

it would really be funny... an embassy hiring an asylee seeking protection from the embassy's country.

I don't think the flag should be raised to the asylee "since he is honorable working individual", it would raise a flag on the embassy itself and its HR system.

I am thinking that if you work for the embassy that they should only be concerned with whether you are legal to work in the US

But when Consulate's HR asks you what is your Immigration status (which they always do), and you reply "I am an Asylee" from the same country I want to work for. Don't you think there is something fundamentally wrong in this statement? I sure do.

it is a diplomatic institution and the last thing they look at is your EAD

Still, if someone "asylee" was able to work in the COP embassy, I don't think he should quit or feel afraid from endangering his asylum status ..In fact, I will congratulate him for surpassing the system :)

Why not?

there are many refugees and asylees here in USA, they were approved based on the prosecution from certain exotic entities "not the government" threatening them in their home country...

for example: Iraqi asylees.. they seek protection from insurgent forces "from Iran or Afghanistan" that want him dead, Iraqi government/police can't do that much for them there... they would like to protect the asylee but can't

so I don't think that all Iraqi asylee will bear a grudge against his government or embassy...

So so far people think your asylum may be cancelled for:

1. renewing NP
2. travelling back to COP
3.Working at the embassy of your COP. Any others?

I still think that it is OK to work in the embassy...

anyway, add "resettling in another country" having residency status from 3rd country.

Ok so so far it is

1. renewing NP
2. travelling back to COP
3. Working for embassy of COP (questionable)
4. settling in a 3rd Country

How about adding... "dramatic changes in home country, where it is no longer danger to go back". It happened before.

also how about editing the first post and put the updated list .... just suggesting :)
