On Friday morning , DHS has raised alert level high from YELLOW
TO ORANGE considered being severe terror threat .

Orange indicates a perceived "high" risk of terrorist attack, and yellow indicates an "elevated" risk.

I guess that could be the reason we don’t see any approval since last 2 days .

I have a strong feeling regarding immigration issues , b’ cos many of the Government decisions are based on this THREAT level .

Lets hope this level comes down and everything become normal.
 
Hmm . if that's the case, we should see approvals ONLY when the level has been lowered to yellow, which could mean really AFTER the war with Iraq (if the U.S. will indeed start the attack).
Nobody knows for sure when it will happen and when the govt will think that the threats no longer justify the 'orange' level.
If this theory is true, then we should be prepared for another long wait then ... :)

While INS seals the processing we seal our windows.....

I don't know if things will be normal any more in US. Problems seem to keep surfacing every day. This can get very frustating.

On the brighter side, I was called by my friend today (filed in INS Nebraska) who got the approval today. Also some folks who went to interview at local INS got approved and stamped yesterday.

Wait and See...
 
Then, why there are lot of approvals from Nebraska?

In Rupnet, I am seeing lot of approvals by NSC.
