Reason to QUIT: Employer wants me to join client ??

Hi!

Per a phone call, my employer wants me to join the client. Got PP stamped 3 months ago. Is this reason enough to quit ? Any experience/ knowledge/ educated guesses ? Thanks for your input.
 
Can I bail ?

I have a choice, not being compelled. However not too keen on staying with employer or client after this unsavory incident. I would prefer a move to a more ethical climate. Can I quit (unlikely I will get fired) and walk or will my permanent intent become suspect ? Thanks.
 
if you have every thing of that episode in writing or e-mail, then that\'s okay for you

there should be proof that your company is compelling you to take perm with client.

I didn\'t get plastic card yet
my employer laid me off after 2 months of GC, gave a letter
I plan to travel to India for a month
In the current market conditions getting next job may take time

my question is
do I need to be an employee of some company, if I want to travel to India and while coming back do they ask me if I am employed? I know and I suppose not, but to confirm....
