Reason for Applying AP

I am planning to apply for my wife advance parole, this is her 3rd, can someone tell me what reason I should put in AP application. I heard if you write visiting family INS doesn't approved.
My wife case has been transferred to boston in june 2004 and still waiting for interview date.

---------- you can write any reason they dont care, who told you that if you write visiting family or parents the AP is not approved???
