Hello,
Assume that the citizenship application is subjectively denied by IO due to not satisfying continuos residency requirement at some point of time during 5 year period. When are you eligible to reapply? How long after what point exactly?

As soon as you do meet the continuous residency requirements in statutory period, along with the allowance given to time outside the US . For example, if you apply in 2011 but are denied for breaking continuous residency between 2009-2011, then you would be eligible to apply 4 years + 1 day after the last return to US that was used to determine your break in continuous residency.

okay i see. so lets say i return tomorrow to usa after a period which, they later consider me to have broken the residency. Then the 4 years would start tomorrow then correct? and for the second application, the physical presnece requirement becomes half of four years which is two years in that 4 years? and the 180 max absence periods stay the same?

Correct, 4 years + 1 day after tomorrow. The physical presence requirement is still 30 months in previous 5 years, not half of 4 years and you must still maintain continuous residency up until your oath.
