Apply I-485(New Employer) after old I-485 was denied(with different employer)

Hi ,

My name is Lan and I need some help in filing my I-485.

Case Details:

Background:
In year 2003 I have applied I-485, I-131 and I-765 through a NJ based company A, which were denied by USCIS mentioned as no evidence was provided by the employer A.

I am never be the employer NJ based Company "A" and I was agreed to join them once I have receive the EAD. After USCIS denial I was not interested to go with NJ based company "A".

Current scenario:
I am working for a company "B" since Dec'2002 and I have receive my priority dates to file my I-131, I-765 and I-485.

Problem:
While filling the forms some of the questions regarding previous filing and A* numbers and status of previous filing.

Solution needed:
What I am suppose to write in the status column? Is there any adverse effect on my current GC filing by my earlier application denial.

Please help me in this regard. I can send you the copies of earlier denial receipts.

Lan

As far as I know, no one can file any employment based I-485 at this time. So you don't have to worry about it for now.

The truth. If it was denied, then say so and send a copy of the denial notice.

There shouldn't be. Anyways, any possible adverse effect pales in comparison to what USCIS will do if you don't mention the previous denial.
