I have seen the current processing dates in Philly and its Feb 9 2004. Does it mean that people with PD of that date are getting calls for oaths ? or interviews ?

Also, this seems to be too long a time. Is the realistic time less ? What is the general opinion among people in this and other districts ?
Would it help to relocate to a faster district if one desires to get their natz. faster ?

Thanks

Philly is indeed quite slow. My wife and I did this comparison mid last year when comparing Chicago v/s Philly. At that time Chicago was around 6 months and Philly about 9-10 months. So we did not feel it was worth the move. But now Philly is 1+ years while Chicago still seems to be around 6 months. My wife's PD is end of july 2004. FP was over last year too and we have not heard anything back as of yet.
A USCIS rep we called nov. of last year assured us that we have a looong time before we need to worry about not getting an interview call or something.
So the conclusion is, you will be taking a calculated risk and postponing your n400 app by 3 more months if you move but it's been quite a while since Philly bucked the trend anyway.
My 2 cents.

Update for you. My wife just got her interview notice for April 2005, a full 3+ months before schedule; from Philly. That seems like good news so far.
