Ready to File Law Suit against BCIS

Who can file a Law Suit

As i think more and more on this topic, my opinion is slowly changing on the criteria for Law Suit. Here is my latest thought :

What you need for filing a law suit is just fearlessness. What can BCIS do if you have a clean employment record (verifiable experiance and no gaps in employment) and clean personal record ? They can't do anything. Any one who is not approved in 540 days is a good fit for law suit. So you are a very good fit for that. I will contact you very soon for more details. There is no need for any special hardships. All this waiting, uncertainity, lack of professional progress, fear of losing job and status etc are all good enough to qualify as hardships. We can question BCIS what is their action plan for reducing the backlog as required by congress ? Then BCIS will have to run from pillar to post to find an answer and their best answer would be to act fast and reduce the backlog quickly.

current list of candidates for plaintiffs at VSC

No self nomination at VSC forum ?
We can see 3 candidates at CSC forum,
2 at NSC, and 2 at TSC, so totally 7.

Please nominate yourself.
Rajiv would select plaintiffs from the list of candidates.

I thought that self nomination is not right way to go so I was little hesitant.

Anyway, I can be potential plaintiff.

It might not be right way but I think it seems the only way for us right now.
Once we have 10-20 self nominated candidates, each one can send his/her profile to Rajiv so that Rajiv can select 5-10 plaintiffs.

If everyone sends a profile to Rajiv, it would be overload for Rajiv.
I believe Rajiv has to focus to file a lawsuit at first.

Kashmir,
I'm looking forward for your next post(2000).

It's good to share/reduce the workload of Rajiv.

I think "mraju" might be a good candidate for Law suit. I think he is willing to join the Law suit. So atlast we have found one candidate from VSC. If Edison is also willing to join the Law Suit, that brings the count to 2 from VSC.

Re: Re: current list of candidates for plaintiffs at VSC

Self nomination appears to be the only way. Please everyone, if you feel you qualify for the plaintiff post here or send PM to any one of the core team members. Or, Kashmir already has a list. You can add your name to his list by snedning him a PM.

Not sure...

My RD is in Sept. 2002. FP was done on Oct.31.2002.

First I-140 had denial, filed 2nd and got RFE - then approved.
Changed job under AC21.

I don't know if I can be a good candidate.

What do you all think?

Are you a concurrent filer ? Why was your I140 denied first time ?

Any recently filed applicant interested to join the law suit as plaintiff????

Please reply here and forward your details to Rajiv.

Edison and the rest of the core team,

1: Don't you think it would be much better if the outline of the suit is posted so people can take a peek and hopefully be more involved? This may create more plaintiffs from all different categories and backgrounds.
2: Hardship stories. Are these tied to the plaintiffs or the two are not related? In other suits the stories are indeed tied to the plaintiffs, so each one (plaintiff) should submit his/her story also.
3: Is it time to "spread the news"? in other venues and places? This may increase participation.

Lastly, I saw a notice from another thread. Interesting. These people (agency) simply do not have the money/resources and mandate to do the job. Add to that the requirements for Security checks with no additional resources. This is the heart of the problem. This notice from them SHOULD DEFINITELY BE USED.......

Due to shortage of manpower we have been
unable to inform you and are also unable to give you a timeframe as to when your cacse might be processed.'
