Readiness for RFE

Friends,
Can I keep an employment letter ready incase I receive an employment RFE? Does the date on the employment letter matter since it will atleast be a couple of months if I prepare the letter now.

Also, should the pay-stubs be the most recent pay-stubs? What happens if they are not?

Technically INS would want the letter dated after the RFE was generated, right? I would want to know others opinions because eventually VSC 485s should probably expect a slew of RFEs

Do they send RFE\'s even if date is not current? Is there such a thing as validity on the response?

I have seen posts where there are RFEs even if the PD is not current, but after completing FP. can\'t point to a link, but am sure seen quite a few cases!
