Dear All:

I filed my papers concurrently (I/140/485) with company " A " in Feb of this year after labor got approved, and just now discovered that the company has been bought over by Company " B " - Please advise what do i do under these circumstances, I am a little panicky and nervous about the whole situation - Will my entire petition and patience go down the drain - would i need to start all over again the entire process or is there a legal loop that I could use.

Comapny " B " might not be able to support my petition.

I know we are all here to share each others pain - please do advise ASAP.

Thanks

Use a lawyer

Lawyers are the best people for these- not so simple situations. Several including Rajiv Khanna often offer free phone/email advice.
Thanks

Simplistically speaking, if a company is not willing to proceed with your immigrant visa processing (and you have not crossed the 180-days-after-filing-485 hurdle), you are out of luck. Find out why the company is not willing to proceed. Does it not want you to work there? Are you likely to be laid off?
