Re-sumbit photos for green card

Hi all,

I just received a letter from INS saying that I have to resumbit photos for the plastic card because my hair covers part of my ear.

Does anybody know if I should go to local INS to re-apply the I-551 form, or just send photos to INS? How long does it take to get the plastic card?

Go in person

Dont just mail the photos again. You will have to go again with new notice and redo I-89 signature and index finger deal. Time depends on your Service center and most officers who stamp the passport say std. 9 months.

PS dont go to same photographer again. Some center like Boston have a photographer in the INS building itself.
