Re-Finger printing.

Hello,
My wife is primary. Both of us went for our first FP on March 13,2004 to New Rochelle, NY. (FP experience was cool. It took around 20 min to complete the process)

On March 26, my (Dependent) 485 status changed to "On May 25, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent..." . But my wife's didnt change.

Yesterday we received another notice asking her to come for Fingerprinting on July 17th.

Is there anybody who had refinger printing? How does this happen?

It happened to us

i am the primary applicant and my husband derivative. I had to go twice for finger printing since the first was was not clear enough for FBI to process. This is very common especially with women. nothing to worry. My I485 was approved on 2nd june 2004.

Same here, my wife also had to give fp 2 times. The reason being that we are from India and my wife usually washes dishes without using any gloves, as a result the fingers become dry very fast.

For my wife she asked her to put more hand lotion than the officer took the finger prints.
