Re-filing I-485 after AC-21 port

I just got a notice about RFE sent. I have no idea what it is about, so all I have to do is to contemplate possible scenarios.

Let's assume following:
140/131/765/485 filed concurrently. 140 is approved. 180 days passed. AC21 ported. 485 is denied.

Question is: Will it be possible to re-file 485, based on old approved 140, while working for different employer?

No. You can claim the old PD, but will need a new I-140. The I-485 would need to be reopened. Why was the I-485 denied?

It's not yet denied. I am thinking about my options for worst case scenario. Looks like in my case best approach will be to keep original 485 alive instead of re-filing.
