Hi,

I have a valid B1 visa with multiple entry upto June 2005. I came to US on sept 4th . I'm leaving back on Dec 2nd. My client wants me to stay for another 3 months. I'm planning to come back immediately after i goto India. However, i was told by my friends that there is a minimum cooling period that i should spend in India inspite of having multiple entry visa. Is this true? If so, how long i should be staying in India before i start back to US.

Can i start back on Dec last week to US from India?

Note: I don't want to take extension on my visa. I want to go and come back.

Thanks and Regards
Krishnan

If your work requires you to be here for long, chances are you have the wrong type of visa. Business trips are usually for no more than two weeks.

There is no cooling period. But you cant stay in any country for more then 180 days in a year, else you are liable to pay the taxes and get a clearence certificate from them before your departure.
