My wife and I received physical cards. My wife went to India for a fertility treatment. She is pregnant, but my parents are asking her to stay back in India for another one more year because they want to take care of her. She is already in India, and if she comes back next year, the total stay will be more than 1 year. Will she have problem when she comes back? I heard that staying more than 6 months outside is not good.
In this situation, what can I do if she wants to come to the US after an year? Can I apply for Re-entry permit for her though she is in India?
