Dear Attorney Rajiv,
I am currently on an H-1B visa and my spouse is on H-4 EAD, both working for US employer. We plan to visit India for our wedding for approx. 90 days (Dec 2025 to Feb 2026) and are planning to work from home in India. I have my employer office in India as well.
My Spouse will have her H-4 stamping in India.
How long can one stay outside US on H1B visa and work from home? Is it advisable to stay upto 90 days or can cause issue while re-entry to US?
