Re-entry permit

Hi everyone,

I want to know information about re-entry permit.I want to know what is the good reason i can give them as i have some personal reason for going back.
I am appling it before leaving US which address should i give in the form for Re-entry.

if anyone has any experiances please post it.

Green card holders can apply re-entry permit if they need to stay abroad for over a year for personal/family reasons or overseas employment.
 
Reentry form filling help

Guys,

I need help for following questions:

1. What reason you have given at the time of filling the application for re-entry. ?
2. What will be the expected length of trip? Will it be one year or two years??
3. Can I give my friends address while filing the application so the re-entry permit will be sent there?

You can ask that the permit be delivered to the consulate in the country you are going to. You will need this document to enter the US. You can give the real reason why you are going. As long as the nature of the visit is temporary in nature, it should suffice.
