Re-Entry Permit Questions

I am a Permanent resident that was obtain by political asylum.

I was going to apply for a re entry permit now, and I was reading the new instructions and it requires biometrics done.

The question is, I was going to fill the form and send it, and leave the country and have the re entry permit shipped to the us consulate that is in the country that I am going to be at.

So, I can not leave until I have biometrics appointment done? When I was doing my green card, I had biometrics done back then. are those stored and use for this or I must do new ones for this form?

you must do the bio again, you should not leave before you get yor travel document, these days it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get RP,

and in2 weeks after i get the letter, when do they give the appointment, lets say I sen the papers today, and in 2 weeks a I got a appointment letter, when do they say I have to go aprox?
