Re-entry on B2 in short period

hi all,

my parents are in the US and have 6 months B1 visa. They plan to stay for the full six months and then return back in a couple of weeks. this is because my wife is medically unfit and pregnant and needs my parents right now and later also. Will they be denied an entry at POE, since they were out of the country only for a couple of weeks?

can we tell the officer at POE that its a medical reason? will that help?

If your wife needs assistance, hire a housekeeper or a nurse. You parents plan is both working illegally and attempting to live in the US both in violation of their visas.

Your medical reason is totally unacceptable. There are legal alternatives available to you.
 
If it is indeed a medical reason shouldn't professionals, instead of parents, be attending to it? No genuine visitor should spend more than 6 months in the US during any rolling 12 month window. Emphasis on genuine.

ofcourse we have medical help, cleaning woman etc......they are just here for supporting us during our tough times
 
The most important person to assist your wife and soon-to-be child is you. If you are eligible for FMLA, apply for it now. It is not automatic; there is paperwork to be completed
