re-entry on B2 after a short vacation out of USA

My in-laws have 10 yr multiple entry B (visitor) visa (Indian citizenship) and usually visit us for 2-3 months at a stretch once every 2 yrs.

This year we would like to invite them for 5-6 months long, and during their stay in USA (~3 months after the first entry), we have plans to take them for 10 days vacation out of USA (Europe).

What are the potential challenges they could face, if any, during their re-entry after the vacation to Europe? Any suggestions to mitigate those?

Please share if any of you have had experience in dealing with this type of re-entry situation on B visa.

Worst case scenario will always be refusal of re-entry. Nothing can mitigate that 100%. The more proof of ties to India they carry, the less chance of being refused re-entry.
