re-entry as asylee green card holder

I'm a green card holder through asylum and want to travel to my home country then re-enter the USA aftter one month.do i need any other document besides my passport an my greencard?

will my going back home for a visit affect my application for USA citizenship?
 
It might. Are you the primary asylee? Why are you going home? Do you have proof of an emergency there?

If you're a derivative asylee, you will most probably be ok. Again, documenting the reason for your travel is advisable.
