Re-enter on H4

Hi,

Iam working for company A on an H1 visa. Now company A is closed. Now Iam filing for an H1 transfer thro' company B. My wife who is on H4 wants to go to India now. When she plans to return, does she need to get the visa revalidated because I will not hold my H1 visa with company A any more.
If yes, does she have to wait in India till my H1 is approved thro' company B?

If there is no gap in your status, she can use the same H-4 visa.
