My wife's H1 was approved on 9/22 as was evident by the e-mail received from USCIS. However her attorney has not yet received her approval notice (I-797A with I-94) confirming her change of status (from H4 to H1). We called USCIS and were asked to wait for 30 days before asking for a duplicate. This is so frustrating!!!
Is it possible that the notice was lost in transit? Does this happen a lot? What do we need to do for a duplicate? Can we ask that it be mailed to our home address instead of the attorneys office?
