Re- Applying for Re-entry permit I-131

Hi ... first of all thanks a lot for the information given by everyone on this board.

I will be reapplying for a 2nd travel permit for myself and my son who has 2 more years of studying to do.

Just want to confirm that the mailing address has changed. The I-131 form has been revised early 2010. My state is South Carolina. So will I be mailing to the USCIS Lockbox Box 660867 in Dallas TX
Sending app by USPS.

What are the chances of getting second re-entry permit for 2 more years only? We will definitely be moving after that.

Do I need to send a separate sheet explaining the reason Will it help getting approval or just write
"Family Obligations" and "Studying"

You should be fine. Usually your first 2 REPs are for 2 yr duration. After the 2nd one usually you get the REP for 1yr duration. My wife is applying for her third one. We didn't offer too much explanation on either one except a few words.
