RD or ND which one is Important for I 485

Hi,
in the reciept an asylee recieves from the INS, what is the important date (priority date)
is it the date they recieved the I-485 application or the date they send the notice?
mine is RD 7/14/99 and ND 9/29/99 which is one is the important one,
it's going to make a huge difference for me based on the latest cut off dates announced,

As far as I know the answer is: Received Date.
